DOVECOT PARK CHEVRON MASTERPIECE
We paired black and white chevron tiles for this family in Edinburgh. The softness of the stone effect, creates a gentle contrast. The footprint of the bathroom worked well, but our client wanted an exciting and dramatic update, moving away from the subdued cream and brown of the existing design but without the look being too harsh.
To gain more storage, we used a double drawer basin unit in matt black. As well as adding a recessed shelf for the shower area. To keep the look fuss free, the basin has with integrated handles, and the shower screen, folds back against the wall, while being wide enough to stop any spray falling to the floor while showering.
The LED light around the circular mirror helps adjust the mood of the room, along with clever lighting running the length of the bath and in the recess. The slight vein finish in the stone work on the windowsill and recess, works with both the white and black chevron tiles. Picking up accents of the colours within the finish look of the tiles.
The towel radiator from adds an element of fun to the family bathroom, working well with the pattern of the chevron tiles. Brassware in a gunmetal finish compliments the other black finishes in the design. Pulling the look together and giving it a luxurious feel.
